Through the United Way

If you would like to donate to the Foundation through the United Way, ask if your local United Way has a Donor Choice Program. To find your local United Way Chapter, check out the United Way site. If your local United Way has Donor Choice, check the area on your donor form to indicate a specific organization you would like to direct your funds to and write in:

A.O.E. National Foundation

Make a copy of the donation form and send it to the address above so that we know that you have designated funds to the Foundation and we can do the proper follow-up to see that we receive your funds. A 501(c)(3) letter can be made available to your local United Way if needed.

Gift Acceptance Policy

As a general rule, the Foundation Board of Directors will accept unrestricted donations of cash. Other gifts of cash equivalence, marketable securities traded on major US exchanges, personal property, real property, insurance policies, charitable trusts, bequests or other items will be accepted at the discretion of the board. In no event shall an employee or volunteer working on behalf of the Foundation commit to a donor that a particular gift will be accepted by the Foundation without prior Board approval.
